Viking Illustration

This is a project in school where we had to study the middle ages and the vikings. We had several tasks to do, but this is the main task where we had to illustrate a chosen poem from "Hávamál". Hávamál is a collection of Old Norse poems from the Viking age. 
Translated to english:
The brave and generous have the best lives. They're seldom sorry. The unwise man is always worried, fears favors to repay.
This is actually the first time I try to draw a full drawing using only 1 layer. I hope you like it
